The information we collect
This is a simple, static website. We do not run user accounts, and we do not sell or share your information for advertising. The main way we collect personal information is when you choose to contact us:
- Contact form. If you send a message, we collect the name, email address and message you provide, so we can reply. These are delivered to our charity inbox and are not used for marketing.
- Email, phone and WhatsApp. If you contact us directly, we keep your message and details only for as long as needed to help you.
Cookies and similar technologies
We keep cookies to a minimum. The site works without advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The consent banner records your choice (accept or decline) in your browser’s local storage so we don’t ask again. If we later add website analytics to understand how the site is used, it will only run if you have accepted.
Our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to protect against spam. Turnstile is privacy-friendly and does not use cookies to track you across websites or serve advertising.
The services we rely on
To run the website securely we use a small number of reputable providers, who process limited technical data (such as your IP address) to deliver and protect the site:
- GitHub Pages — hosts the website files.
- Cloudflare — DNS, security and spam protection (Turnstile).
- Formspree — delivers contact-form messages to our inbox.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. To make a request, email us at reachchildrenuganda@outlook.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
